Rav 3 Final-848
Rav
Manager / Funeral Director
With over a decade of experience in the funeral industry, Rav brings deep compassion and professionalism to his role as Manager at Ensom Funeral Services. His journey into the profession began with Auckland Council Cemeteries and Crematorium, where he discovered his passion for supporting families during some of their most challenging moments. What began as a calling soon developed into a lifelong commitment to ensuring that every family receives the care and dignity they deserve.

In 2015, Rav and his wife, Rebekah, endured the heartbreaking loss of their daughter, Eveana. This profound personal tragedy gave him an even deeper understanding of the importance of his work, reinforcing his dedication to providing empathetic, thoughtful service to others experiencing loss.

Rav’s extensive background includes working with large corporate funeral homes, but his desire to offer a more personal, community-focused experience led him to join Ensom Funeral Services, a family-owned New Zealand funeral home. His leadership is marked by a hands-on, heartfelt approach that emphasizes local care by locals for locals.

Now settled in New Zealand, Rav is proud of his Kiwi-Indian family and values his time outside of work with Rebekah and their two energetic sons, Aarav and Eli. He also enjoys socializing, spending time with friends, listening to music, and finding balance between his personal life and his passion for supporting others.
